Please help us welcome CJ Forland III as our new Altitude Winterguard Director!

Clyde (CJ) Forland III currently lives in Colorado Springs, CO. CJ is currently in his graduating year as Music Education Major (clarinet) at Colorado State University-Pueblo, where he is doing his student teaching at Carson Middle School on Fort Carson Colorado.. He hopes to teach band for a middle school in the state of Colorado. CJ is a graduate from Fountain Fort-Carson High School (2013) where he gained a great sense of training and technique that he will continue to place into the members of Altitude Color Guard.

CJ has recently aged-out in the year of 2016 at the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps where he spent his summer as the soloist JUDAS; in addition to marching the 2015 season at the Madison Scouts. During the summer of 2017, CJ worked with the Madison Scouts as a Movement Technician/Choreographer/Liaison for the horn line. Times when CJ was not with the horn line, he spent with the color guard as a weapon technician.

In the winter, CJ has spun with the elite, World Class Winterguard; Opus 10 from 2013-2017. CJ is exited is to be in the role of Director of Altitude Winterguard as he molds the minds and hands of young people of Southern Colorado!

Altitude Winter Guard is a Southern Colorado Independent Winter Guard program located in Colorado Springs for ages 16-22 interested in color guard.

To provide students of Colorado an opportunity to perform in a unique performance ensemble that uses theatrics, equipment, and dance that teaches leadership and teamwork to perform a show. We seek to instill in our members a strong sense of personal achievement, growth, confidence, strong work ethic, responsibility, perseverance and dedication; in order to achieve a team goal.

Altitude color guard winter ensemble is dedicated to youth education in the sport of the arts. We offer youth from ages of 16-22 both performance and educational opportunities in indoor color guard. Our members will learn the crafts of performance, dedication, leadership, theatrics, and dance to develop the skills necessary to perform at a supremely high level. The shows created will be aimed for entertainment for thousands of spectators with a competitive nature. Altitude winter guard rehearses in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
